There are three major international airports you can fly into: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Edinburgh is the closest, but all of them are less than a two-hour drive from Dundee. Dundee has an airport which operates two domestic flights to and from London Heathrow Airport per day, so flying here from London is an option.
Edinburgh Airport
is the UK's 6th busiest airport with 38 airlines flying 221 routes from/to 157 destinations worldwide. You can get to Abertay from Edinburgh Airport by train, bus or car in less than 2 hours.
- - you can get to by tram from right outside the airport terminal. Or you can get a tram or bus into Edinburgh city centre and get a train from either or stations. The time it takes depends on where you leave from. We are a short walk from , or 10-15 minutes by taxi. Taxis can be found outside the station.
- Edinburgh Airport to Abertay by Coach - this takes just over 1 hour and 20 minutes. The most direct ways are the or the . You need to book both ahead of time.

Dundee Airport
is the most convenient fly-in destination for the University, and operates 2 flights every weekday to/from London Heathrow, with a reduced service at weekends. You can book via the .
